This week Parent Booker launched a new feature letting schools inform parents about positions.
Until now when a volunteer event was created a date and time had to be specified. With Parent Booker’s new positions feature schools can inform parents that they have positions that they need to fill that are not date or time specific:
To set up a position you must be an admin or a volunteer coordinator.
- go to volunteer opportunities
- create an opportunity as you normally would but for the type choose position
On the next screen prompting you to enter tasks or roles you can specify a date. The positions will be available for sign up until this date. Then you can enter tasks without specifying dates or times.
Users can sign up for positions on the website, or using the iPhone and Android mobile apps.
Using Positions for Bringing Items to Events
